This fall, a federal grant again funded The Educational Opportunity Center program, which will
enable us to serve Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico students for
another four years.
Some of you will
remember when EOC first began at TSJC, in
1985.
The scope of our grant has
changed, however, to include our being
allowed to serve High School Seniors.
Our services continue to
be the same: We help individuals make a wise choice regarding which college is best for
them. We then help
them understand the process and complete the Admissions and Financial Aid
applications to that
college. TRiO programs are funded by our taxes and can be found all over the U.S.
I encourage you to continue
to refer students and potential students, young and old, to the SCEOC
program.
The SCEOC Central Office is
on the CSU-Pueblo campus. The main number there is
877-302-4433.
In addition to Trinidad and Raton offices, there are also Satellite offices in the following
cities;
-
Colorado
Springs
-
Pueblo
-
Canon
City
-
La
Junta
-
Lamar
-
Walsenburg
