JOB POSTING – PROGRAM OFFICER

CON ALMA HEALTH FOUNDATION

Program Officer:  Full time position for private health foundation based in Santa Fe, NM, to oversee statewide grantmaking and program initiatives. The Program Officer is responsible for contributing to the development, maintenance and support of the grantmaking systems of Con Alma Health Foundation.  The Program Officer should have a comprehensive understanding of how nonprofit organizations operate and a minimum of five years experience in the nonprofit sector. Grantwriting experience required; prior grantmaking experience is strongly preferred. Skills in program development and evaluation required. Experience with grants data base management (e.g. MicroEdge) preferred. Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred. Experience in working with multicultural populations and statewide travel required. Successful candidate’s background and philosophy will be consistent with Con Alma Health Foundation’s mission and core values.
