Smoking May Make Adolescents More Susceptible to Drinking

Summary:  Adolescent smokers have a 50-percent greater risk of developing an alcohol-use disorder than nonsmokers, leading researchers to speculate that smoking may make the young brain more susceptible to other addictions.
