Grollman talk and plant sale
The Children’s Grief Center of New Mexico is proud to announce it’s first significant
fundraising event. The Center will sponsor a conference entitled
“Living with Loss: Healing with Hope” on October 4th, 2006 from 8:30
a.m. till 4:30 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center on Wyoming Blvd. NE. The
guest speaker for this event will be Dr. Earl Grollman who is an internationally
recognized author, lecturer and rabbi. Dr. Grollman was a pioneer in the field
of crisis intervention and has written extensively about grief and bereavement.
He is frequently interviewed in the national media and has appeared on
television as a guest on “Mr. Rogers” and Oprah.” He has been the recipient of
numerous awards including “Hero of the Heartland” for his work with adults and
children after the Oklahoma City bombing. Dr. Grollman lives in Boston,
Massachusetts. He is the author of over twenty-six books, including the
best-seller, Living When a Loved One Has Died.
All proceeds from this event will benefit the Children’s Grief Center of New Mexico.
The conference is open to the general public and professionals in the community.

SALE, to support the center’s need for “Room to Grow”. The event will be held
on September 9 and 10, 2006 from 8:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. in the parking lot of
Sunset Mesa School, on the NE corner of Morris and Candelaria NE.
Wholesale producer, Plant World, is providing a unique opportunity to purchase
their locally grown, hardy landscaping plants and trees. All proceeds from this
